I was inspired to develop this grant seeking community after a talk with my family about the knowledge gap between people like us and the millions of dollars being passed between governments and institutions (that they think are helping people like us).

The money isn’t trickling down, so we’ve got to climb up!

About Amani Sawari, founder of SawariMedia LLC and fiscally sponsored by Warm Cookies of the Revolution is a journalist, speaker, artist and social justice advocate with years of experince working in nonprofit writing grants in service of marginalized people across the U.S.

Sawari attended the University of Washington in Bothell graduating class of ’16 with a dual degree BA in Law, Economics & Public Policy and Media Communication Studies. As a poet, singer songwriter and guitarist I enjoy sharing my perspectives with those who are interested in learning from my experiences.

In 2018, a coworker sent me a fellowship opportunity that turned into my first $50,000 grant. Since I’ve been able to write dozens of grants for myself earning thousands. Now I write grants for other organizations applying for hundreds of thousands of dollars and you don’t have to miss out, come and GET.
