Request for your Group
SawariMedia LLC works with groups, non-profits, grassroots organizations, businesses and students by providing workshop courses catered around the group’s organizing interests and capacity. After a session you will have the tools needed to do some of the following collaborative rehabilitative programs with people in prison in the following areas
- Divestment – Push for divestment from the use of prison labor by paying prisoners’ fair wages (knowing that student’s tuition dollars pay these costs, it is the students responsibility)
- Book Club/Reading Program – Help provide community and literature to people in prison who have very limited access to diverse reading selections in prison libraries
- Prisoner Research Support – Support people in prison by providing reading and study materials by request including articles, legislation and other documents
- Academic Program – Implement programming and curriculums developed by people in prison or prisoners into outside classes and events
- Voter Partnership Program – Help people in prison have their voices heard in the upcoming election by organizing a civic engagement initiative in your region
